Today’s special: The Hemingway Daiquiri
One of Broken Down Doll’s perennial favourites, a well-made Hemingway is bereft of any hint of sweetness (much like BDD herself), is dry as hell—and best kept that way without the addition of sugar— and involves one of my favourite ingredients: Maraschino liqueur (Other favourite ingredients will soon become painfully obvious as this list progresses…)
50ml measures light rum
10ml lime juice
20ml grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)
15ml Maraschino
